How to set Date and Time policy in UNIBOX?

UNIBOX allows administrator to define new date and time policy for a given user group. UNIBOX will grant access to Internet based on the date and time rules defined under this policy. The policy needs to be defined for a specific user group. The policy will be enforced on all users assigned to the group.

To set Date and Time policy in UNIBOX

  1. Open web browser. Type 10.10.10.1 (gateway IP), or type http://login.secureunibox.com/(domain name) and press Enter.
  2. UNIBOX Administration screen appears.
  3. Click Date and Time link (in the left pane) under Policy link. Control :: Date and Time page appears.

  4. Select Enable this policy check box, and click Submit. Configuration saved successfully message appears.

  5. Click New Date and Time Policy link. (In the left pane). Control:: New Dates & Time Policy page appears.

Fields & Buttons

Description

New Date & Time Policy

Policy Name

Enter the name of the policy in the Policy Name field.

Group

Select the group from the Group drop down menu for which the policy will apply.

Days of Week

Everyday

OR

Week Days

Select Every Day check box or select the days of the week when user will be granted Internet access. Default is every day.

Time of the Day

24 Hours

Or

From Time – To time

Select the 24 Hours radio button or enter the number of hours of the day when user will be granted Internet access. Default is 24 hours. Administrator should enter the time durations in ascending order without overlapping.

Submit

Click Submit button to save the policy configuration settings.
