What is a server port?

Server port is a specially designated port that allows administrators to connect a set of servers to UniBox.The network segment may contain servers, printers and other devices whose access can be controlled via UniBox.

Administrator can configure the server port so users who are authenticated on the network are only allowed access to the resources connected to the server port. This setup is beneficial to networks that have many shared resources and administrators need to control access to these resources.
