UNIBOX allows administrator to create a new portal page from a predefined template. The administrator can choose various options to create the page of their choice. UNIBOX creates a copy of the portal template using the options selected and saves it internally. UNIBOX offers different template designs. Administrator can choose one of the template design.
To add a new portal page
- Open web browser. Type 10.10.10.1 (gateway IP), or type http://login.secureunibox.com/(domain name) and press Enter.
- UNIBOX Administration screen appears. Click Authentication tab.
- Click New Portal link (in the left pane) under Portal link. Authentication:: New Portal page will appear.

Page Name |
Enter a name for the portal page in the Page Name field. |
Title |
Enter a title for the portal page in the Title field. |
Web Access |
Select the radio button for the Web Access. Web Access option decides whether the portal page will be displayed as secure or non-secure URL. For secure page, administrator needs to upload a signed certificate in UNIBOX otherwise a default self-signed certificate will be used. |
Paid/ Free Portal |
Select the radio button for the Paid/ Free Portal. Paid or free options decides whether the billing option will be available to the end user or not |
Billing Method |
If the user selects Free radio button, 3 options will appear:
If the user selects Paid radio button, 3 options will appear:
Both: The users can access the service using prepaid card or their credit card account. |
Has Terms & Conditions |
Select the Has Terms & Conditions check box to enable the terms & conditions for the portal page. Click the radio button for Displayed As check box to view the terms & conditions in a text box or displayed in a link. |
Proceed |
Click the Proceed button to customize the portal template. To customize, click on the logo or banner. The local image can be uploaded into UNIBOX using the popup. UNIBOX will replace the default images with the uploaded images. You can also change the colour theme of the template using the themes option at the top. To preview the new changes, please click on the Refresh button. Click on Finish button to save and publish the changes. |
To edit the portal page
- Click on List Portals link (in the left pane) under Portals link. Authentication:: List Portals page appears.
2. Click on the name of the portal which you want to edit under Page Name column in the table. Authentication:: Edit Portal page will appear.
3. Make the necessary changes, and click the Proceed
To delete Portal page
- Click on List Portals link (in the left pane) under Portals Authentication:: List Portals page appears.
- Click on the name of the portal which you want to edit under Page Name column in the table. Authentication:: Edit Portal page will appear.
- Click the Delete Portal link (in the left pane), under Edit Portal Click Ok in the delete confirmation pop up.
