What is a Campaign, and how to add/edit/delete campaign?

Campaign is an organized course of action to promote a product or service. Administrator can add, edit, and delete the ad campaigns. Administrator can customize the ads and ads campaigns. Each campaign will include one or more ad groups. The ad groups contain multiple ads, so all the ads in the groups are the part of the campaign. WiFiLan will select the appropriate ad from the list to display on each request from the browser.

To add a campaign

  1. Click the Campaigns link under Advertise drop down link in the left pane. Ads link, Groups link, Campaigns link, Tags link, Reports link appear.
  2. Click Campaigns The List Ads Campaigns page is displayed.
  3. Click on the Ad New Campaign The New Ad Campaign page will display.
  4. Select the Media Type radio button. The options are Image and Video.
  5. Enter the name for the campaign of ads in the Campaign Name
  6. Select name of the location from the Select Locations drop down list.
  7. Select the ad groups from the Select Ad Groups Press Ctrl key on the keyboard, and select multiple ad groups by clicking on it.
  8. Click green + button to add an ad group to the Select Ad Groups When you click green + button, you will be redirected to the New Ad Group page. Enter the details on that page, and click Submit. The ad group will be added in the Select Ad Groups box.
  9. Enter the date in the Date Range field, or select the date from the calendar beside the Date range The campaign will be active only in the mentioned duration of dates.
  10. Select the Is Active check box if the campaign is active on the selected location. WiFiLan only use active campaigns. Administrator can uncheck the Is Active check box to pause the campaign in the dates mentioned.
  11. Click Submit to save changes.

To edit campaign

  1. Click the Campaigns link under Advertise drop down link in the left pane. Ads link, Groups link, Campaigns link, Tags link, Reports link appear.
  2. Click on Campaigns The List Ad Campaign page is displayed.
  3. Click on blue edit button in the Operations column, in the table. Edit Ad Campaign page will be displayed. Make the necessary changes.
  4. Click Save to save the changes.

To delete an ad group

  1. Click the Campaigns link under Advertise drop down link in the left pane. Ads link, Groups link, Campaigns link, Tags link, Reports link appear.
  2. Click on Campaigns The List Ads Campaigns page is displayed.
  3. Click on red delete button in the Operations column, in the table. Delete Confirmation pop up will appear. Click Delete.

Administrator can view, edit or delete the existing campaigns configured in the dashboard.

Description

Name

Name field displays the name of the campaign

Start Date

Start Date field displays the date from which the campaign is active.

End Date

End Date field displays the date from which the campaign will be inactive.

Status

Status field displays whether the campaign is active or inactive.

Operations

·         Click on blue edit button in the Operations column, in the table. Edit Ad Campaign page will be displayed. Make the necessary changes.

·         Click on red delete button in the Operations column, in the table. Delete Confirmation pop up will appear. Click Delete.
