How to add/edit/delete APs

Add AP

To add AP

  1. Click Manage APs under AP Management drop down link (in the left pane).
  2. Click New Access Point New Access Point page is displayed.

Note: When you click on New Access Point tab, You will be redirected to New Access Point tab in Access Points link under Authentication link (in the left pane).

Fields

Description

AP Name

Enter the name of the AP in the AP Name field.

MAC Address

Enter the MAC address of the AP in the MAC Address field.

Hotspot

Select hotspot from the Hotspot drop down menu of the AP.

Description

Enter a short description for the AP in the Description field.

 

Edit AP

To edit AP information

  1. Click AP Management drop down link (in the left pane).
  2. Click List APs tab under Manage APs List APs page will be displayed.
  3. Click the blue edit button (Under Operations column in the table) in front of the entry you have to edit. Edit APs page will be displayed.
  4. Make the necessary changes.
  5. Click Submit to save the changes.

Delete AP

To delete AP

  1. Click AP Management drop down link (in the left pane).
  2. Click List APs tab under Manage APs List APs page will be displayed.
  3. Click the red delete button (Under Operations column in the table) in front of the entry you have to delete.
  4. Confirm Delete pop up will appear. Click Delete button.
