How to define and set Default Portal page

Default

WiFiLan provides admin to set and define a default portal page globally for multiple locations.

To set default portal page

  1. Click Portals drop down link (In the left pane).
  2. Click Default Page Default page will appear.

Fields & Buttons

Description

Gateway

Select the gateway for the portal from the Gateway drop down menu.

Language

Select a language for the portal page from Language drop down menu. The options are:

·         English

·         French

·         German

·         Spanish

Portal Type

Paid + Username and Password: When the user selects Paid + Username and Password check box, User Info check boxes appear. Select the check box which will appear on the portal page.

Prepaid: Select the Prepaid check box, the prepaid code check box will appear on the portal page.

Prepaid with User info capture: When the user selects Prepaid + User Info Capture check box, User Info check boxes appear. Select the check box which will appear on the portal page.

Complimentary Free Access [Clickthrough]: Select the Complimentary Free Access [Clickthrough] check box, the Select Plan drop down field will appear. Select the plan from the Select Plan drop down menu. It is for the free access of the users that displays usage terms and conditions.

Free Access with User Info Capture: When the user selects Free Access with User Info Capture check box, Select Plan and User Info check boxes appear. Select the plan from the Select Plan drop down menu. Select the check box for User Info which will appear on the portal page.

SMS: When the user selects SMS check box, Select Plan and User Info check boxes appear. Select the plan from the Select Plan drop down menu. Select the check box for User Info which will appear on the portal page.

Note: SMS Gateway should be configured.

Social Media: When the user selects Social Media check box, Select Plan and Social Media Type check boxes will appear. Select the plan from Select Plan drop down menu. Select the check boxes for the social media type which will appear on the portal page. When you select the social media type check box, their respective ID and secrets field will appear. Enter the User ID and password in their respective fields.

Logo Image

Click Change, and select the logo image from the desired location which will appear on the portal page.

Link on Logo Click

Enter a URL in the Link on Logo Click field. When the user clicks on the logo, the user will be redirected to the given URL.

Partner Logo

Select Partner Logo check box, and click Change button. Select the partner logo from the desired location. (Optional)

Site Image

Select Site Image check box, and click Change button. Select the site image from the desired location. (Optional)

Terms & Conditions

Select the Terms & Conditions check box and enter the terms and conditions in the box below which will appear on the portal page. User will be prompted to accept the terms and conditions.

Footer

Enter a footer note in the Footer box which will appear at the bottom of the portal page.

Support Number

Enter a customer support phone number in the Support Number field, which will appear on the portal page.

Welcome URL

Enter a welcome URL in the Welcome URL field.

Login Cookies

Select the Login cookies check box to enable the login cookies. Portal Page will enable cookies to login the user automatically.

Pre Login Ads

Select the Pre Login check box to enable the ads on the portal page pre login.

Post Login Ads

Select the Post Login check box to enable the ads on the portal page post login.

Banner Ads

Select the Banner Ads check box to enable the banner ads on the portal page.

Submit

Click Submit to save the changes.
