How to add/ edit/delete Access Point?

Add Access Point

To add Access Point (AP):

  1. Click New Access Point tab under Access Point link (in the left pane). New Access Points page is displayed.

  2. Enter the name of the AP in the AP Name field.

  3. Enter the Mac address of the AP in the Mac Address field.
  4. Select the name of the hotspot under which the AP is associated from the Hotspot drop down menu.

  5. Enter a short description for the AP in the Description

  6. Click Submit to save the changes.

 

Edit Access Point

To edit Access Point (AP):

  1. Click List Access Point tab under Access Points link (in the left pane). List Access Points page is displayed.
  2. Click the blue button to edit the details of the Access Point.
  3. Make the necessary changes.
  4. Note (Configure button): When you add a new network, the values entered in the General Settings page, SSIDs page, Radius page, and Miscellaneous page are the default values for the new AP added (In the AP Management link in the left pane). Click the Configure button to override the setting values even after the AP is added.
  5. Click Submit to save the changes.

Delete Access Point

To edit Access Point (AP):

  1. Click List Access Point tab under Access Points link (in the left pane). List Access Points page is displayed.
  2. Click the red button to delete the details of the Access Point.
  3. Click Submit to save the changes.
