Step 1 - Navigate to Network>>LAN & create a new LAN network,by clicking on '+' icon. By default one LAN network would be present in Unibox, don’t modify it, instead create a new LAN Profile as shown below,
1.1 Fill all the details here and click on Save button
1.2 LAN Network is created with DHCP enabled
Step 2 - Mapping LAN Network on physical interface
2.1 Navigate to Network>>Interfaces>>Physical & map here your LAN profile which you have
created in above steps, refer below example for more details,
2.2 In above image we can see that eth2 is not used, so we are going to map our LAN network
on eth2 interface, as shown below. Click on cofigure icon to configure eth2 interface.
2.3 LAN Network has been mapped successfully.
2.4 LAN network is now mapped successfully on interface eth2, status is showing down which
means you have not connected anything in eth2 interface physically.
2.5 Plug a LAN cable in the last port present in unibox, since it is mapped for LAN network as seen in above image.
2.6 You should get a IP of range 10.10.10.x , since this is the LAN network which we have configured and mapped in Unibox. So connect a Laptop/Computer or switch in last port of unibox which is mapped for LAN network in unibox , and test whether it is getting IP of range of your LAN network i.e. 10.10.10.x.
2.7 Therefore , we have created a LAN network in unibox successfully. You can create multiple LAN networks in unibox by following above steps.
