In this section, you can create an instance of the captive portal authentication
Step 1 - To configure captive portal authentication via the WebUI:
1.1 - Navigate to the Authentication>>Captive Portals>>Create captive portal
Fields and Buttons | Description |
Network | Select name of your network/hotspot |
Template | Select template if available |
Submit | Click Submit button to save the changes. |
1.2 - Select Create Portal tab to create new portal for selected location
1.3 - Select Network name from list
1.4 - Select template if created or keep as it is so that you will set template for future use by enabling is template flag in next step
1.5 - Click on Submit
1.6 - You will redirect to Customize portal Information
1.7 - For gateway selection you can select different types of devices
1.8 - Select default language from list
Step 2 - To configure different login methods
2.1 - Login with Customer credentials
2.2 - Navigate to Authentication>>Captive Portals>>Edit Portal>>Login Methods
2.3 - Click on Portal Type Paid + User Name and Password

Plan Group | Select the Plan group from drop down list or you can add new plan by clicking on 'Add New Plan' |

Submit | Click Submit button to save changes |
2.4 - Click on Portal Type Voucher

User Info | Enable the fields of user information you want to show on portal while authentication |
Terms and Conditions | If you enable the checkbox of Terms and Conditions then this field will appear on portal |

2.5 - Click on Portal Type Voucher with OTP

User Info | Enable the fields of user information you want to show on portal while authentication.Enable the Contact number field to get OTP. |

2.6 - Click on Portal Type Complimentary Free Access[Clickthrough]

2.10 - Click on Portal Type Free access with Password

Password | Enter the password which will be used while login |
User Info | Enable the fields of user information you want to show on portal while authentication |

Submit | Click Submit button to save changes |
2.11 - Click on Portal Type SMS Portal

Title | Enter the Title of the Portal you want |

Select Policy | Select the policy based on your requirement from drop down list |
User Info | The portal is used for authentication of user by SMS gateway. Enable the fields of user information you want to show on portal while authentication.Enable contact number field as this is SMS portal. |
Terms and Conditions | If you enable the checkbox of Terms and Conditions then this field will appear on portal |
Submit | Click Submit button to save changes |

Step 3 - Look and feel
3.1 - You can configure Logo image, Logo link Url, Portal frame and portal fonts colour in this section
Fields and Buttons | Description |
Logo Image | Upload logo image(max size is 100KB) |
Link on Logo Click | Enter URL link (e.g: http://www.demo.com or http://demo.com) |
Portal frame | Select portal frame colour.(This will change portal frame colour) |
Portal Fonts colour | Select Font colour.(This will change colour of font in portal) |
Site Image | Select background image from theme (e.g. Restaurant,Hotel,School,public area etc.(Max Size: 500 KB) |
Submit | Click Submit button to save the changes. |

Step 4 - Miscellaneous
In this section you can configure Terms and Condition, Footer, Support number and Welcome Url
Fields and Buttons | Description |
Terms and Conditions | You can add Terms and Conditions then this field it will appear on portal |
Footer | You can add footer text in this section it will appear on portal |
Support Number | Enable support number and add contact support number |
Welcome URL | Set Welcome URL e.g: http://www.demo.com or http://demo.com |
Parameter Passing | Enable/Disable parameter passing |
Self Care Login | Enable/Disable Self care login |
Restrict users to this network | Enable/Disable user to restrict selected Network |
End User Ticket | Enable/Disable End user ticket.If enable End user can create ticket |
Submit | Click Submit button to save the changes. |
Step 5 - You can configure portal with Monetize section. In this you can enable following features while configuring portal
Fields and Buttons | Description |
Push Notifications | Enable/Disable Push Notifications for selected Network |
Ads | Enable/Disable Advertisements for selected network |
Reviews | Enable Disable Reviews for selected Network |
Survey | enable/Disable Survey for selected network |
5.1 - Enable any feature it will appear while accessing your portal for selected Network/Hotspot
5.2 - Enable and click on submit Button.
Step 6 - After configuration of all features portal will appear in Portal list for selected Location/Hotspot.
6.1 - You can copy and redirect portal URL by clicking on icons which is used for copy and redirect respectively
6.2 - You can view the configured portal by clicking on View Button.
